Summary

Heading East is a psychological thriller/horror feature that follows a traumatized Katie on her cross country trip back home from California.  Along the way she is haunted by demons of her past that will keep you guessing until the very end with a monstrous twist.

 

Investment Details

Budget: $80,000

This number includes cost of Cast, Crew, Location/Permits, Catering, SFX (hair, makeup, etc.), and Post Production (editing, sound mixing, color grading, etc.)

 

Cast is already attached a few that are notable include: Siobhan Fallon Hogan (Forrest Gump, MIB, Charlotte’s Web); Josh Server (All That, Good Burger 1 & 2); Joe Morton (Terminator 2, Justice League, & Scandal); Bill Timoney (The Irishman, All My Children, 12 Monkeys).  Locations have already been scouted and planned.  Filming is ready to begin immediately in New Jersey by May 1, 2025.

Crew is also already committed to Heading East.  Our crew is well seasoned and includes camera, lights, and sound engineers that come with a long list of experience in this industry.

Investment Summary

 

Investing in a film is extremely high-risk due to the unpredictable nature of the audience reception, reliance on the market factors with distribution deals, and the possibility of not recouping the initial investment.  That being said, big risk, big reward.  The breakdown for investment amounts and investor accolades so long as the film accrues a net profit large enough to compensate are as follow for HEADING EAST:

 

INVESTMENT OF $5,000-9,999: ROI = Initial + 20% Interest

INVESTMENT OF $10,000-29,999: ROI = Initial + 25% Interest

INVESTMENT OF $30,000-49,999: ROI = Initial + 25% + 1% Net Profit

INVESTMENT OF $50,000-80,000*: ROI = Initial + 25% + 5% Net Profit

 

*If the film nets $4mil there will be a $250,000 bonus check. Only applicable to those investors in the $50,000-80,000 bracket.

 

 

 

Distribution Channel Strategy

Priority distribution: Theaters

Productions My Way LLC has strong connections through REGAL Theaters & Paramount Studios that will assist in obtaining distribution in theaters.  

Secondary DistrIbution: Streaming services

Plans to work on a distribution deal through Amazon Prime, Shudder, Google TV.  A contact through Indie Rights with experience in distribution will help to orchestrate this strategy.
